Shaver Environmental Geoscience Inc. (Shaver EGI), located in Toronto, ON, Canada, is currently seeking a P.Geo, P.Eng. or GIT/EIT to fill the position of Environmental Specialist. The opportunity is currently contract, with the potential for full time employment. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of three (3) years of Canadian environmental experience with at least two (2) full years in Ontario. He/she will provide expertise in the areas of Phase I & II ESA’s including delineation of contamination, groundwater and soil analysis, and site remediation. A thorough understanding of the environmental regulatory environment within the Province of Ontario is a requirement as it relates to Phase I ESA’s through to site remediation. Other skills that the candidate should posses include: Excellent fluency in English, competent reading abilities, and excellent technical report writing skills. Moderate to advanced computer literacy. Ability to complete field work. Passable knowledge of Ontario geology, especially within the GTA area. Shaver EGI provides a flexible work environment.
